The summer is definitely kicking into high gear for the youth ministry. This month we’ll be going to youth camp in Daytona Beach Florida, and ministering to the Navajo Indians in New Mexico. By the time we return, school’s almost back in session. Last year we took ten youth to camp and this year we have the privilege to take 20! Camp is always a great time to look at your walk with God or to start a relationship with Him. Last year, we had five decisions for Christ in our group and I believe that this year will yield some decisions as well. During the week we will be hearing from the very talented and passionate youth speaker, Louie Giglio, and be worshipping through song with Chris Tomlin. Please be in prayer for our group from July 7-11.
This month some youth and a few adults will headed to New Mexico to run five day clubs for the children in that area. We will be working alongside UIM (United Indian Missions) in reaching out to a people group that haven’t heard about the Gospel like the rest of us, in fact some may not have heard at all. Please help in this ministry by praying for the team going to New Mexico and for the people, that they would be open and responsive to hearing about the most important message that can be told.
